Membership
PART OF A COMMUNITY OF INTERESTS
Members of the interest group for reprocessing in the healthcare sector benefit from an innovative exchange of knowledge. The IG WiG works closely with its members and organises an ordinary general meeting every year as well as an exchange meeting three times a year for networking between the individual stakeholders.
MEMBERSHIP OF THE IG WIG
FULL MEMBERS
Full membership is open to all legal entities and organisations that have an interest in achieving the organisation of the association. Membership is generally held by one natural person per full member.
ASSOCIATED MEMBERS
Private individuals who are committed to the same purpose can be accepted as associate members. Associate members have no voting rights at the General Assembly.
MEMBERSHIP FEE
All members pay an annual membership fee.

PRICE AGREEMENTS
At the meetings of the Interessengemeinschaft für Wiederaufbereitung im Gesundheitswesen (IG WiG), no agreements may be made among the participants with regard to business transactions and their prices.
INFORMATION ON MEMBERSHIP
The Executive Board of IG WiG considers, evaluates and approves applications for full membership under the following criteria:

In addition to the general conditions listed in the Articles of Association (see Art. 5), the applicant also fulfils the requirements to actively participate in the purpose of the association (Art. 2) and its implementation.

In other words, a full member must have the relevant expertise in research and development, organise training events or act as a specialist speaker in compliance with the minimum requirements and specifications stipulated by the IG WiG.

The applicant actively contributes clearly recognisable expertise to the relevant working groups. This does not apply to associations, societies and organisations based in the healthcare sector that already deal with this topic as their purpose.
If the applicant is not in a position to fulfil these conditions, they have the opportunity to participate in the IG WiG as an associate member.
